Understanding Your Commercial Space

Business Flooring

When it comes to flooring for your commercial space, there are a lot of factors to consider. Foot traffic, hygiene requirements, aesthetics, and budget are all important things to think about. At Lime Flooring, we understand that choosing the right flooring can be a big decision, and we're here to help you make the best choice for your business.

The Benefits of Polished Concrete Flooring

One of the most popular flooring options for commercial spaces is polished concrete. Polished concrete is a durable, long-lasting, and low-maintenance flooring material. It's also highly resistant to stains, scratches, and wear and tear.

There are many other benefits to polished concrete flooring. It's a sustainable choice, as it's made from a natural material. It's also easy to clean and maintain, and it can help to improve the overall look of your commercial space.

Epoxy Resin Flooring: A Viable Alternative

Another popular flooring option for commercial spaces is epoxy resin. Epoxy resin is a durable, chemically resistant, and easy-to-clean flooring material. It's also available in a wide variety of colors and finishes.

Epoxy resin flooring is a good choice for commercial spaces that require a high level of durability and chemical resistance. It's also a good choice for spaces that need to be easy to clean and maintain.

Choosing the Right Flooring for Your Business

When choosing between polished concrete and epoxy resin flooring, it's important to consider your specific needs. If you need a durable, low-maintenance, and sustainable flooring option, polished concrete is a good choice. If you need a durable, chemically resistant, and easy-to-clean flooring option, epoxy resin is a good choice.

Our team have recently completed a very interesting project in Ipswich at their brand new Community Facility. This new build project was undertaken for Ipswich Town Council. Using Ardex PCT 4 material, we completed the process, enhancing the surface from 40 grit to 3000 grit with resin bonded diamond tooling. The result is a striking polished concrete finish with exposed aggregates, delighting the client with the outcome.
