Why Choose Resin Flooring for Your Business?

At Lime Flooring, we understand the unique challenges that businesses face in maintaining durable and hygienic flooring solutions. That's why we've made it our mission to provide top-quality commercial flooring solutions, including resin flooring.

What is Resin Flooring?

Resin flooring is a versatile and durable flooring option that's perfect for a wide range of commercial applications. It's created by applying a liquid resin to a prepared floor surface, which then cures to form a seamless, hard-wearing coating.

Why Choose Resin Flooring?

  • Durability: Resin flooring is incredibly tough and can withstand heavy foot traffic, machinery, and chemical spills.
  • Hygiene: Its seamless surface makes it easy to clean, preventing the buildup of dirt and bacteria.
  • Aesthetics: Resin flooring can be customised to suit any style or colour scheme, adding a touch of elegance to your workspace.
  • Cost-Effective: While the initial investment may be higher than traditional flooring options, resin flooring's long-lasting durability and low maintenance costs make it a cost-effective choice in the long run.

Applications of Resin Flooring

Resin flooring is suitable for a variety of commercial settings:

  • Industrial Facilities: Factories, warehouses, and workshops
  • Commercial Spaces: Retail stores, offices, and showrooms
  • Healthcare Facilities: Hospitals, clinics, and care homes
  • Food and Beverage Industry: Kitchens, restaurants, and food processing plants

Installation Tips

To ensure a successful resin flooring installation, it's essential to work with experienced professionals. Here are a few tips to keep in mind:

  • Professional Installation: Hire a reputable company like Lime Flooring to handle the entire installation process.
  • Proper Preparation: The floor surface must be clean, dry, and free of any contaminants before the resin is applied.
  • Curing Time: After installation, it's crucial to allow the resin to cure properly, typically 24-48 hours.

Our team have recently completed a very interesting project in Ipswich at their brand new Community Facility. This new build project was undertaken for Ipswich Town Council. Using Ardex PCT 4 material, we completed the process, enhancing the surface from 40 grit to 3000 grit with resin bonded diamond tooling. The result is a striking polished concrete finish with exposed aggregates, delighting the client with the outcome.
