When it comes to choosing flooring solutions for your business, there are a lot of options available. We’ll explore the reasons why polished concrete is the perfect flooring solution for any business.

Before we dive in, click HERE for an overview of our Polished Concrete Services.

Durability

One of the primary reasons why polished concrete is an ideal flooring solution for any business is its durability. Polished concrete is extremely strong and can withstand heavy traffic and machinery without cracking or chipping. With a strength of up to 20,000 psi, polished concrete is even stronger than traditional concrete. This makes it an excellent choice for industries that require a strong and sturdy flooring solution, such as food processing plants and automation engineering companies.

Versatility

Polished concrete is an incredibly versatile flooring solution that can be customized to fit any business’s needs. It can be polished to different levels of shine, from a matte finish to a high-gloss shine, and can even be coloured to match a company’s branding or décor. Additionally, it can be sealed with various types of sealants, such as epoxy or urethane, to provide even greater durability and protection.

Low Maintenance

Polished concrete is a low-maintenance flooring solution that requires minimal upkeep. Unlike other flooring options that require frequent cleaning and waxing, polished concrete is non-porous and easy to clean. It doesn’t harbour dust or allergens, making it a great choice for industries that require a clean and sanitary environment, such as hospitals and laboratories.

Cost-Effective

One of the biggest advantages of polished concrete is its cost-effectiveness. It is less expensive per square foot than many other flooring options, such as carpeting, tiles, and linoleum. Additionally, it can last for decades with minimal maintenance, making it a long-term investment that can save businesses money in the long run.

Ideal for Underfloor Heating

Polished concrete is an excellent choice for businesses that require underfloor heating. Concrete has a high thermal mass, which means it can store and distribute heat effectively. This makes it an energy-efficient flooring solution that can help businesses save money on their heating bills.

Non-Slip Surface

Polished concrete can also be treated with anti-slip coatings, making it a safe flooring solution for businesses that require a non-slip surface. This is especially important for industries that deal with hazardous materials or machinery, such as factories or warehouses.

Eco-Friendly

Polished concrete is an eco-friendly flooring solution that can help businesses reduce their carbon footprint. Concrete is a sustainable material that can be recycled and reused, and it doesn’t require harsh chemicals or cleaners to maintain. Additionally, its reflective surface can help reduce lighting needs, saving energy and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Unique Aesthetic

Polished concrete offers a unique aesthetic that can give businesses a modern and industrial look. Its smooth and glossy surface can enhance the overall appearance of a space and provide a professional and sophisticated look that can impress customers and clients.

Enhances Indoor Air Quality

Polished concrete is a great choice for businesses that prioritize indoor air quality. It doesn’t harbour dust, allergens, or other pollutants, which can improve air quality and reduce the risk of health problems for employees and customers.

Longevity

Polished concrete has a long lifespan, making it a great long-term investment for any business. With proper maintenance, it can last for decades, which can save businesses money on replacement costs over time.

If you’re looking for a reliable and stylish flooring option for your commercial space, polished concrete is definitely worth considering. And there’s no better time than now to explore your options!
