Elevating Commercial Flooring with Advanced Pump Screed Overlays

Pump Screed Overlays

At Lime Flooring, we're proud to be leaders in providing professional commercial flooring solutions across the UK. One of our primary services is Commercial Polished Concrete, aimed at delivering high-quality flooring solutions for high-traffic areas. Today, we want to dive into a crucial aspect of our process: pump screed overlays. These overlays play a vital role in preparing concrete substrates before installing commercial flooring, ensuring a seamless finish that meets our clients' expectations.

Understanding Pump Screed Overlays

Pump screed overlays are essentially a blend of cement, sand, and other additives, applied to concrete substrates to level and smooth them out. This process is integral in achieving the flawless finish our clients expect from Lime Flooring. By using advanced techniques and equipment, we ensure that the surface is perfectly prepared for the next stage of the flooring installation process.

Advantages of Pump Screed Overlays

Enhanced Efficiency: Pump screed overlays streamline the levelling process, saving both time and labour costs. At Lime Flooring, we're committed to delivering efficient solutions without compromising on quality.

Superior Surface Quality: Compared to traditional methods, pump screed overlays result in a smoother and more even surface. This ensures that the finished flooring not only looks great but also performs exceptionally well under high traffic conditions.

Minimised Disruption: Our use of pump screed overlays minimises disruptions during installation, allowing businesses to continue operations with minimal interruption. We understand the importance of keeping downtime to a minimum for our clients.

Cost-Effectiveness of Pump Screed Overlays

Investing in pump screed overlays offers long-term cost benefits, thanks to their efficiency and durability. Clients can expect significant savings over time, making it a wise choice for commercial flooring projects.

Environmental Sustainability

Pump screed overlays contribute to environmental sustainability by reducing material waste and energy consumption. At Lime Flooring, we're dedicated to eco-friendly practices and strive to minimise our environmental footprint in every project we undertake.

Our team have recently completed a very interesting project in Ipswich at their brand new Community Facility. This new build project was undertaken for Ipswich Town Council. Using Ardex PCT 4 material, we completed the process, enhancing the surface from 40 grit to 3000 grit with resin bonded diamond tooling. The result is a striking polished concrete finish with exposed aggregates, delighting the client with the outcome.
